This is really cute and my daughter loved it but, the first thing she did is place a different doll on the flying hook. Apparently it was too heavy because it got stuck and now it keeps sticking with the regular fairies on it. Do you believe in fairies? The Hollow Home Tree Playset makes magical stories come alive through discovery and interaction. It's a small doll, electronic playset that offers girls an expandable play area that they can bring to life by clapping their hands.

With the recent closure of Toontown Online, Pixie Hollow, and Pirates of the Caribbean Online, and any plans for reopening being off in the future, the administrators have had to make some difficult decisions. Do we change? To what? When? What will we be rated? We'd like to announce that we know the answers to those questions now. Wednesday October 16th the ToontownCentral.com site will be taken offline. Don't panic! We will reopen Friday October 18th as MMOCentralForums.com. The current URL will continue to redirect for some time. We'll warn you before it stops. Additionally, MMOCentralForums.com will condense most of our current sites into one. All DisneysOnlineWorlds sites except PixieHollowForums.com will be archived. MMOCentralForums? What will that do? MMOCentralForums won't be built around a single game. We will be offering forums for a wide variety of games along with the off topic and creative areas our members enjoy. There will also be forums geared towards specific age groups, which we will explain more when the site reopens. A few other surprises are in store! What happens to my account? All current TTC accounts will remain active. You will log in with your username and password just like you do now. Your contact list will be there, all images, all posts,... [Read More] |

The central focal point in Pixie Hollow is a majestic tree that serves as home for Queen Clarion and the four Ministers of the Seasons. Here, too, is where all the new fairies first arrive and find out what their special talents are. The sap of this tree is pixie dust, and the roots spread wide, infusing the magic powder into every corner of the Hollow. With its canopy of leafy branches and a trunk that glistens gold with pixie dust, this pint-size paper tree is the perfect landmark for any imaginary fairyland.
Time: 25 minutes
What You’ll Need
Pixie Hollow Games
- Scissors
- Craft scissors (optional)
- 2 sheets (8 1/2- by 11-inches) heavyweight brown paper for the tree trunk
- Lightweight green and yellow paper
- Hot glue gun
- Craft knife
- Toilet tissue tube
- Glue stick
- Gold glitter glue
- Small paintbrush
- Gold glitter foam (optional)
How To Make It
- Print out the template and cut out the pieces. Trace the tree trunk onto each of the two sheets of brown paper and cut out the tracings. (Or, if you prefer to cut out two tree trunks at once, you can stack the two sheets and paper clip the edges together. Then trace the template onto the top sheet.)
- Use the leaf template pieces and decorative-edged craft scissors to cut out a bunch of green paper leaf clusters.
- To assemble the tree, stack the two trunk pieces and hot glue the very side edges and the roots together. Leave the tree boughs and the tree bottom unglued.
- Insert the toilet tissue tube into the center of the trunk
- Use the glue stick to attach a leaf cluster to the top of each bough.
- Use the craft knife to cut a door opening in the front of the tree, referring to the template for size and placement. Cut a window opening in the back of the tree, too, if you like. To create the illusion of light shining from within the tree, glue small squares of yellow paper to the inside of the trunk in front of the door and window openings.
- Now it’s time for your child to paint the trunk and limbs with a glistening coat of glitter glue pixie dust.
- For the final effect, set up the tree on a “pool of pixie dust” cut from a sheet of gold glitter foam.
